Description:

Andrew T. Tutt was the first husband of Edgar Alllan Poe's cousin, Elizabeth Rebecca Herring, the woman to whom Poe originally dedicated his poem "To Eliza." Tutt married Herring on December 2, 1834, and he died shortly afterwards. The piece was given to the Poe Museum by Mrs. Tutt's great granddaughter.
