DESCRIPTION:Don’t tell Edgar\, but we’re throwing him a party… \n\n\n\nEdgar is turning 215 years young this January and YOU are invited to our annual Birthday Bash on Saturday\, January 20th from 4:00pm-10:00pm to celebrate the life and legacy of Richmond’s very own\, Edgar Allan Poe! \n\n\n\nGates will open at 4:00pm and programming under the heated tent will kickoff with a keynote talk on Edgar’s lasting impact on pop culture given by Professor Scott Peeples\, author of The Man of the Crowd: Edgar Allan Poe and the City. From there you will be entertained by the incredible duo\, The Coldharts\, as they perform excerpts from their critically-acclaimed shows\, Edgar Allan and Eddie Poe\, the smooth jazz sound of the Charles Owens Trio\, and of course\, The Embalmers. A schedule of programming can be found below! \n\n\n\nLocal craft beer by Garden Grove Brewing\, wine\, and non-alcoholic drinks for sale.
