For the last few years, Chimborazo Park has hosted an event called Arnold’s Raid, focusing on the 1781 raid on Richmond by Benedict Arnold. The goal of the event has been to expand its scope, make it the premiere Revolutionary War event in Richmond, and educate the public about the Revolution.
There will be re-enactors demonstrating historic clothing, foods, medicine, weapons, music, and more. There will also be children’s activities.
The Poe Museum will be on site tabling at this event.
