Literature & Her: A Celebration of Gothic Women Writers

Join us for a Friday the 13th celebration of gothic women writers! This event will include a lecture at 3:15pm by our curator on the literary works of the Brontës, Shelley, Radcliffe and other female authors who influenced the gothic genre.
Fountain Bookstore will run a pop-up bookstore where you can buy copies of the works of these prolific woman authors.
The Poe Museum will provide programming in our Enchanted Garden including letter writing and wax sealing.
At 4:00pm, our Education Coordinator will be leading a special focus tour on the lives of the women who surrounded Poe. Registration for this tour is required. Capacity of 20 attendees.
Light refreshments will also be provided.
