The Enchanted Garden was created with Edgar Allan Poe’s poetry in mind, with countless references to his verses of love and beauty. Objects like bricks, stones, ivy and more come from locations around Richmond that are significant to Poe’s life here in Richmond, Virginia. The Enchanted Garden is a living representation of one of America’s most famous writers.
